Letters to God
The letters that carried me through
Most kids wrote Dear Diary. I always wrote Dear God.
When homes changed, God didn't. When families changed, God didn't. When adults made promises and broke them, God didn't. Through every move, every separation, and every new set of strangers, the one conversation that never ended was the one I had with Him.
These letters were never about being especially religious or having all the answers. They were simply the words of a hurting child who talked to God because, sometimes, He was the only one who was there.
"I had too many homes to count, but I always had One who never left."
